Hi, my name is Karmele Luqui and I live in Urretxu (Spain).

After earning my BFA some years ago, I’ve been living in different places in Spain (Bilbao, Zaragoza, Barcelona) and Germany. I’ve worked as a restorer (roman frescoes and vintage books) and graphic designer.

I love collecting things that inspire me for work and living. Inspiration is everywhere, all you have to do is open your eyes and find it.

What are you up to?

I’m working on a collection of accesories for my own brand Olelé. I’ve started with wooden cotton fans.

Why fans?

A fan is such a useful object, it keeps you cool with style!
While living in Germany, I realized summers in Central Europe could be as hot a in Spain, so I thought I could help the rest of the world keep cool with a bit of style. So, why not wear a nice fan in your handbag?
