I found lots of beautiful japanese cottons in Nunoya, another of my favourite shops in Barcelona. M and I only had a couple of days in august to visit the city where we used to live years ago, but it was enough to stock up with supplies for the next months. (I could also order online and avoid a five-hour journey, but, you know, feeling the fabric is essential when buying… )

♥ Nunoya – Carrer de la Palla, 6. 08002 Barcelona (Spain) I’ve spent these last days sewing and ironing, to have a new batch of patchwork fans ready in the shop. It took a bit longer to make these fans, in order to have the hems sewn and pressed properly, but I love the unique final result. What do you think?

More hand fans lined with japanese cotton in the shop.

PS. Some friends and other Etsy users missed pictures showing how my fans should be held, so I’ve included a model in the item descriptions’ pictures. Guess who the model is?
