“Three Friends of Winter” is the name of a traditional Japanese pattern. It’s a combination of three plants: Plum blossom (ume), pine (matsu) and bamboo, depicted as a stalk (take) or leaves (sasanoha).
Although it is popular as a New Year motif, it’s a very auspicious combination during the whole year.
Who knows, maybe the this Sasanoha fan will attract good luck! In case it didn’t, at least it will keep you cool with style 😉
Handmade by me with Spanish quality wooden staves and 100% cotton fabric.
Lightweight, sturdy and easy to use. It comes with a matching leather case so you can take it with you everywhere.
Wood, 100% cotton fabric. Leather case.
Closed: 9″ (23cm)
Open: 16.8″ (43,5cm)
My hand fans are produced and stored in a smoke-free, pet-free studio. Some of them may have a slight sweet scent, caused by the starch I use to stiffen the fabric. It should disappear in some days.
This hand fan is designed for right handers. If you need it left-handed, contact me for availability before placing your order.
This is a made-to-order item. The pattern placement may be slightly different from the sample picture. The colour of the case may vary as well, but it’ll match the fan’s.
